Guidance for Certificate of Title (Deed) and Land Location & Boundary Documentation

  • You can print these documents yourself using your own printer or you could consider using a professional printing service.
  • The documents can be printed on US Letter size (8.5 × 11 inches) or A4 size paper.
  • We recommend printing these documents in color with this highest possible quality setting.

Here are a few printing tips to help you:

Fit to Paper:

  • If your printer offers an option like “Fit to Printable Area,” ensure this is selected to prevent clipping.
  • Make sure Scaling is set to 100% or Actual Size to avoid stretching or shrinking the design.

Paper Selection:
You could choose a high-quality paper that enhances the document’s appearance.
  • Paper Type: Standard office paper is fine, however you could use heavier weight paper (such as 24 lb or 28 lb paper) for a more professional look. Cardstock (around 90-120 lb) is ideal for certificates.
  • Paper Finish: Glossy or matte paper can be used depending on the desired finish. For a formal certificate, matte or textured paper is often preferred.

Post-Printing Tip:
After printing, allow the ink to dry if you’re using a printer that uses liquid ink (especially for glossy paper) to avoid smudging.

Framing:
Consider framing the certificate in a suitable 8.5 × 11 inches or A4 frame to protect it and enhance its presentation.

Guidance for the Moon Photo

The details below are guidance for printing the picture (JPEG file) of the moon (with or without the purchased land marked with an X). This guide will help ensure your print comes out looking its best, with proper sizing up to 11x14 inches.

Printing Size Options:
The photo can be printed  up to 11x14 inches (300 DPI) or it can be resized into various other sizes, such as 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10, though resizing typically involves cropping or adjusting the image.

Common Resizing Options (Standard Print Sizes):

4x6 inches:

  • The most common photo size, especially for personal use, albums, and framing.
  • Resizing 11x14 to 4x6: The aspect ratio of 11x14 is 4:5, while 4x6 is 2:3, so resizing to this size would require cropping the image to fit.

5x7 inches:
  • A standard photo size that is often used for smaller framed prints or keepsakes.
  • Resizing 11x14 to 5x7: This would require cropping some portions of the image to fit the smaller aspect ratio.

8x10 inches:
  • A commonly framed size that’s great for portraits and wall displays.
  • Resizing 11x14 to 8x10: This will need a slight crop, as 11x14 has an aspect ratio of 4:5, while 8x10 has a 4:5 ratio too, but some slight trimming may be needed if the image doesn’t perfectly fit.

Important Considerations for Resizing:

Aspect Ratio:
When resizing or printing, the aspect ratio (the ratio of width to height) of the original image should be maintained as much as possible. If the aspect ratios don’t match the print size you want, cropping or adding borders may be necessary.

Cropping:
If you're resizing an image to a size that has a different aspect ratio (e.g., resizing 11x14 to 4x6), you will need to crop parts of the image. Make sure the important parts of the photo are not cut off during the cropping process.

Recommended: Use a Print Service (Online or Local)

  1. Choose a Print Service:
Select a print service like FedEx, Staples, or a dedicated photo print service like Shutterfly or Snapfish.
  1. Upload the JPEG File:
Follow the instructions on the print service website to upload your image. You may need to create an account and sign in.
  1. Choose Print Size:
When prompted, select the 11x14 inch print size (or optional smaller sizes 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10). Most services will offer options for standard prints, posters, and photo enlargements.
  1. Select Paper Type:
Choose the appropriate paper type, such as Glossy or Matte. Some services will have premium options, such as Metallic or Canvas, depending on the look you’re going for.
  1. Adjust and Crop (If Needed):
Some print services may automatically adjust the image for the selected size. Check to ensure it is not cropping out important parts of the image. If it does, you may have the option to adjust the positioning or cropping manually.
  1. Add to Cart and Checkout:

Once satisfied with the preview, add the print to your cart and proceed to checkout. Be sure to check the estimated delivery times and costs.

After Printing
Frame or Display Your Print: If you plan to frame your print, ensure your frame fits the 11x14-inch size (or optional smaller sizes 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10). Many frames have slight variations in sizing, so check your frame’s dimensions before placing the print inside.
